maman - Washington: A Cozy Culinary Haven at Union Market

The vibe at the maman at Union Market is excellent. Paola and Justin were excellent and very communicative and patient. Also, Justin’s presentation of the Cherry Blossom Matcha Sakura Latte was beautiful! I was able to get so much work done at this location and I love the rustic decor covered in lots of greenery indoors and all around.

Laila was an amazing server!!! She was so nice and cheerful that even if you were having a bad day, she could have made it better! The food was amazing and so was the coffee. Laila recommend me some options and she did not disappoint. Thank you Laila for an amazing experience and we will be coming back to see you again.

I had an amazing experience at Maman in Union Market, thanks to Paola and Justice’s outstanding customer service. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They took the time to answer my questions about the menu and even made great recommendations based on my preferences. Their positive energy made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find people who truly care about making customers feel valued, but Paola and Justice do just that. They kept everything running smoothly, even during the busy rush, all while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude. I’ll definitely be back, and I hope to see them again both are absolute gems! If you’re stopping by Maman, you’re in great hands with Paola and Justice. Highly recommend!

This place is a beautiful hidden gem! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is stunning! Paola provided us with impeccable customer service! Justice made a delicious cappuccino and the food and pastries are outstanding! We will be back!

We stopped here on a Monday afternoon for a quick bite and coffee. Didn’t expect to spend $50 bucks but it’s all good, it’s about the experience I suppose. We each got a sandwich and shared a coffee. Food was pretty good, service was great and the vibes are immaculate. Friendly staff and calm atmosphere. Loved the changing table in the bathroom, that was a lot better than most places. High praise for the branding

Great Cafe serving delicious food and bakery items. Counter service but they do bring you the food to your table. Delicious salmon salad and pastry items for you to enjoy. Very cute and welcoming atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the food and decor. Will absolutely stop by again when in the area.

Amazing food and top notch service. Slightly noisy, but great experience. Popular place. Paola was so nice and helpful with the menu. Definitely reccomend Oprah’s favorite thing nutty cookie. Melt in your mouth chocolate, yum! Also had Sophie’s quiche and a salted caramel tahini honeycomb latte that came in a cute mug with great latte art.

Have never tried their food only pastries, quiche, iced lattes and their matcha. But would rate 10/10 top bakeries I have ever ate at. Store is absolutely adorable and there items are Reasonably price for how amazing they are. There Nutella Beignet are by far one of the best things I have ever eaten same with their pistachio and chocolate croissant!! Biscuits are always amazing and come with a little jar of homemade jam too which is always to cute. Lastly there drinks are also 10/10 have had a couple different lattes and then there matcha so amazing as well. A few months ago they had a seasonal Matcha strawberry, and then recently had their seasonal Matcha lemonade which was also top tier. Already dreaming of a trip back to DC so I can stop here!
